Lady criticizes dad for being terrible at parenting

  • A lady has criticized her father for his poor parenting skills.
    • She acknowledged that although some individuals have had exceptional fathers, she is not among them.

A lady has publicly criticized her father for his inadequate parenting skills.

The individual, known as Racquel, shared her sentiments in a tweet on her X account.

She expressed that, while many may have been fortunate to have supportive fathers, she does not count herself among them.

Racquel explained that her father conditioned her to take care of her siblings and has persistently abandoned his parental responsibilities, including financial support for his children, leaving her to shoulder these burdens.

Additionally, she disclosed that her father physically assaulted her when she refused to marry at the age of 17, as he intended to use the funds for her brothers’ education.

She further asserted that her brothers inherited their misogynistic attitudes from their father.

She wrote, “My dad isn’t a good dad. He trained me to cater for my siblings and continues to make it my duty to provide for them. I’m the one refusing to do it, as I was born like them.

“Also, he literally battered me for refusing to get married at 17 so he could use the bride price to train his sons.”

In other news, Nollywood actress Olayinka Solomon, widely recognized as Ogo Mushin in Yoruba cinema, has taken to social media to honor her longtime friend Adewumi Fatai with a heartfelt message filled with gratitude and affection.

Recently, the actress, who has just welcomed a baby boy with her husband, posted on her Instagram account, featuring a photograph of her friend. In her message, she conveyed profound appreciation for their enduring friendship that has lasted for many years.

In her tribute, the proud mother of three boys highlighted Adewumi’s unwavering loyalty and support, particularly acknowledging her role in organizing her son’s dedication ceremony in Nigeria.

She also expressed her gratitude for the energy, love, and cherished memories they have created together from their childhood through to adulthood. Sharing her friend’s image on her verified Instagram account, she articulated her sentiments.

“I’m so grateful for our friendship, which has stood the test of time. Your loyalty and support mean everything to me. From childhood memories to adult adventures, you’ve been by my side. Thank you Adewunmi, thank you for all your full energy, for organizing my event. Your baby is saying thank you, mummy. We shall reap the fruit of our labor, we shall not labor in vain. Love you forever @glitterstouch_makeovers.”
