Fortune Okoye, a Nigerian social media commentator, has spoken out against internet users who are telling Pashotah, the wife of content creator Egungun of Lagos, to leave her husband due to cheating allegations.
The issue started when a blackmailer reportedly attempted to extort Pashotah with private videos of Egungun, one of which was shared online.
In the leaked video, Egungun was caught on a video call with an unknown woman, revealing himself and causing a lot of backlash.
In light of the situation, Fortune Okoye supported Pashotah’s choice to not speak out and requested that people stop urging her to end her marriage.
“Wetin concern all of you? Is it your husband’s gbola that is outside? So, what is your business?” Okoye questioned in a viral video.
“She said both of them don tey together and most of the time, na she dey shoot their videos. Now wey God don butter their bread, you say make she divorce am. If she wan divorce am, na you go make decision for am? Na you join them together? Were you there when they were suffering? For this T-Pain era make she leave am? Go where? Come your house?
