A Nigerian woman has received much appreciation for returning an iPhone 14 handset worth N1.5 million to its owner after discovering it on a bus.
The lady identified as @Chimnecherem__ on the X platform made a post calling the attention of internet users to a phone she found.
According to her, she discovered the phone near Balogun Market on Lagos Island and is looking for help to trace the owner.
“Hello twitter help me retweet. I found this in a bus this morning when I went to Balogun. Retweet to find the owner,” she wrote in a post.
In a post update after about 5 hours, she confirmed that the owner had reached out to pick up her device.
“Update: so someone reached out said it’s for her friend and the owner just picked it up now. Thank you to everyone who reached out and everyone who retweeted. Thank you Twitter!!!!!!” she noted.
