A Nigerian woman caused controversy on Instagram by stating that women should not accept small amounts of money.
She specifically mentioned that men who give gifts worth thousands should not be thanked. She argued that if a man gives a woman N300,000, it is not worthy of appreciation because it is a small amount.
According to Ora_cle, N300,000 cannot even buy a wig, so women should reject such small sums and only accept N6 million and above in the future.
The video, titled “Stop telling a man thank you when he gives you less than N6m,” received negative feedback from some of her followers who urged others to report her account for a potential ban.
