Lagos FCID spokesperson, Aminat Mayegun reveals that she is unaware of Bobrisky's hospitalisation

Aminat Mayegun, the spokesperson for the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Lagos, has categorically stated that she is unaware of any details regarding Bobrisky’s alleged hospitalization, which has intensified the speculation surrounding the popular social media figure.

The rumors gained traction after reports emerged that the extravagant crossdresser was taken to Falomo Police Hospital following an arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border. Initial reports indicated that Bobrisky suffered from severe chest pain, necessitating urgent medical attention.

“Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L. He wore a black gown, covered his face with a shawl, and lay down in the ambulance,” the reports quoted a source to have said.

In a recent conversation with TheCable Lifestyle, Mayegun reiterated her lack of information concerning Bobrisky’s health, leaving both supporters and detractors in a state of confusion.

“Nobody reported that to me. I am not aware. If you see it you can share with me,” she said.

The crossdresser is currently being held at the FCID Alagbon after her apprehension at the Seme border during an alleged attempt to escape the country.

This situation unfolds amid a complex investigation that not only involves Bobrisky but also the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).

A committee from the House of Representatives is examining bribery allegations against these organizations, further complicating the ongoing narrative.

The controversy surrounding Bobrisky’s situation was initially sparked by activist VeryDarkMan, who shared a purported audio conversation that has since fueled public interest and speculation.
