Lagos Gov’t releases video evidence of noise pollution caused by Cubana Chiefpriest’s fast food joint

  • The Lagos Commissioner for Environment has released a video revealing the noise pollution caused by Cubana chief priest’s fast food restaurant.
    • The commissioner released a video sent by an anonymous resident demonstrating the noise pollution from the restaurant.
    • The state government has sealed a restaurant on September 15 due to noise pollution and environmental violations.

The Lagos Commissioner for Environment has published a video that provides evidence of the noise pollution generated by the fast food establishment owned by Cubana Chief Priest.

The commissioner released this video, which was submitted by an anonymous resident, highlighting the disruptive noise emanating from the restaurant.

It is important to note that on Sunday, September 15, the state government took action by sealing the restaurant due to its contribution to noise pollution and other environmental violations.

There have been claims suggesting that the state government’s rationale for the closure is inaccurate.

In response, the commission disseminated the video to substantiate their assertions.

In other news, Actress Eniola Badmus has expressed her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic plans, highlighting a fall in imports and a rise in exports as signs of economic growth.

On her Instagram story, she shared statistics showing a trade surplus of over N14 trillion in just eight months.

She described this as a “nice change from consumption to production.”

She wrote: “For the year-to-date 2024, our imports were N24.44 trillion, while our exports stood at N38.59 trillion. This gives us an unprecedented trade surplus of over N14 trillion in just eight months.

“It has never happened in Nigeria. Never. This is a refreshing shift from consumption to production.”

However, her review occurs amid widespread challenges and inflation in the country, as millions of people rallied against the deteriorating economic conditions in August.
