Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, has paid an unscheduled visit to construction site of Pen-Cinema Bridge in Agege.
Hamzat posted images of the inspection on his Instagram page on Thursday.
He declared that engineers still have a long way to go.
Hamzat, however, said he was impressed with the progress made so far.
The deputy governor assured Lagosians that the bridge would be completed soon.
“Though we still have a long way to go, but l am optimistic that the construction work will soon be completed and residents can make use of the bridge,” he said.
