The Lagos State government has closed Donald’s restaurant, owned by Cubana Chief Priest, owing to environmental infractions.
The restaurant, which debuted in August, was closed due to noise pollution and other offences.
Tokunbo Wahab, Lagos’ Commissioner for Environment, announced the closure on social media, citing repeated warnings and notifications.
The restaurant’s shutdown is the consequence of attempts to enforce state environmental standards. Cubana Chief Priest, who is linked to artist Davido, has not publicly commented on the matter.
The closure is a neutral enforcement of legislation designed to maintain environmental standards in the region.
