Cordelia Okonye, the mother of Augusta Osedion, who tragically lost her life in 2023, visited her daughter’s grave on what would have been Augusta’s 23rd birthday, Monday, February 3.
Augusta was discovered murdered in July 2023, and her boyfriend, Benjamin Best, also known as Killaboi, admitted to the crime via social media.
Okonye shared images of her visit to the grave site on social media, expressing her sentiments.
“I MADE A PROMISE TO YEARLY GIVE YOU FLOWERS ON YOUR BIRTHDAY AND ANY YEAR YOU DID NOT SEE IT THEN JUST KNOW THAT I HAVE JOINED YOU. I LOVE YOU FOREVER.

You saved it and did my first birthday. I will forever mark your birthday with you in your temporarily resting place.
