Late Wigwe’s Daughter, Tochi Breaks Silence, Amidst Family Inheritance Dispute with Grandfather

Despite ongoing rumors surrounding a legal battle over family inheritance, Tochi Wigwe, a determined SME entrepreneur, remains unfazed. The 26-year-old daughter of the late Dr. Herbert Wigwe has chosen to prioritize her passion for business growth rather than address the controversy.

Recent legal documents circulating online reveal a court dispute involving Tochi and her 90-year-old grandfather, Shyngle Wigwe, who, alongside Christian Chukwuka Wigwe, is reportedly challenging her over family assets. The revelations have ignited widespread reactions on social media.

However, rather than being drawn into the family feud, Tochi made a bold statement through her latest Instagram post, highlighting her commitment to empowering entrepreneurs. She showcased her ambitious initiative, The TW Entrepreneurship 2030 Agenda, emphasizing her dedication to fostering business growth and innovation.

Her resilience has garnered immense support from celebrities, including Deola Art Alade, wife of singer Darey Art Alade, as well as numerous followers who flooded her comment section with messages of encouragement.

In October last year, reports alleged that Pastor Shyngle Wigwe’s family secretly tried to alter Herbert Wigwe’s will to disinherit his children, though they denied it.

Later, a legal challenge against the will surfaced online, reportedly filed by Christian Chukwuka Wigwe on behalf of Pastor Shyngle Wigwe. This challenge, said to have been submitted at the Probate Registry, disputed how the late banker’s estate was to be distributed.

The revelation reportedly forced the family, especially Pastor Shyngle Wigwe, to retract their earlier denials, shifting to claims that they had withdrawn the case and were only concerned about the children’s welfare.

However, a court ruling speculated today proved otherwise, alleged that the family had not withdrawn the suit and had, in fact, included Herbert Wigwe’s 26-year-old daughter, Tochi, in a legal battle alongside Uche Wigwe and Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.

Ultimately, the court reportedly ruled against them, affirmed that Pastor Shyngle Wigwe and Christian Chukwuka Wigwe had no right to challenge the will or claim any part of the estate.
