In a press statement, the leader of the British School Abuja responded to the viral video of a student being bullied by her classmates.
It was reported on a viral video online showing a girl named Namtira Bwala being bullied by her classmates at school.
The student was observed receiving many slaps from her classmates, while the lads nearby were heard teasing and laughing in the background.
However, in response to the video, the school stated that they would be working with the perpetrators and their families, as well as offering counselling and disciplinary actions to address their behaviour.
Furthermore, the announcement added that the school has initiated a full enquiry into the situation, evaluating the film and questioning witnesses of the case.
