A leaked chat between Davido, a popular Nigerian singer, and his colleague Portable has created quite a stir online.
The Zazoo crooner responded to Davido’s voice note in the viral exchange by using some barely audible language.
However, in other messages that they exchanged, Davido inquired about a secret package that Portable had promised to mail.
As a result, internet users began to speculate that the two would soon work together.
Davidomainstaff said: “They are up to something. Keep it on a low.”
Samantha_jay wrote: “A music hit with these two won’t be a bad idea.”
Chuks__ added: “You can not fight with Portable unless ure not okay. Nigga is so free.”
Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, professionally known by his stage name Davido, and talent manager, Ubi Franklin, have called out a fake Twitter page impersonating Chioma.
The duo took to their individual Twitter handle on Tuesday to reveal that Davido’s wife, Chioma, has no Twitter account and warned social media users to disregard tweets from the fake page.
In a trending disclaimer post accompanied by a screenshot, Ubi Franklin explained that the particular page with a similar username to that of Chioma’s Instagram page is fake and only impersonating her.
He tweeted: “This page is impersonating Chef Chi. Kindly disregard any tweet from this Twitter handle. Thank you.”
Retweeting Franklin’s disclaimer post on his official handle, Davido noted that “Chioma has no Twitter.”
