Popular reality star, Nengi Hampson, mourns the passing of lawyer turned singer, Rico Swavey, who passed on at the age of 29.

Rico died on Thursday, 13th of October, following involvement in a ghastly car accident despite efforts to resusitate him.

In a note via Instagram, Nengi bemoans the intensity of the hurt the loss of the fellow reality star caused.

While referring to Rico Swavey as a sweet boy and a rare gem, the brand influencer wrote;

“This is the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long time. Deepest pain I’ve felt since I lost my mother. I prayed, I was hopeful, I woke up expecting some good news but God in his infinite wisdom knows best.
