Senegalese International footballer, who plays as striker for Liverpool FC, Sadio Mane has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Senegalese International footballer was confirmed positive with the novel virus in a post on Liverpool’s official website on Friday, October 2, Naija News understands.
Liverpool reports that Mane is currently self-isolating as necessary guidelines against wide spread of the pandemic.
Gistlover recalls that Mane last played for Liverpool in their 3-1 victory against rival club, Arsenal FC on Monday. The player, however, was said to have displayed Mane minor symptoms of the virus but now feels in good health overall.
This is coming not long after Liverpool’s new signed, Thiago Alcantara tested positive for the dreaded disease.
