Hon. Muhammad Danasabe Muhammad, the executive chairman of the Lokoja Local Government Council, has passed away.
Following a brief illness, Hon. Danasabe passed away at Shifa Hospital Lokoja early on Friday morning.
The deceased will be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery following the juma’a prayer, according to a family source.
The late council chief’s passing will be a significant blow to the ruling All Progressives Congress in this Saturday’s Lokoja local government area gubernatorial election. The council chief was well-liked for his colorful roles in prior elections.
He survival by wife, kids, and mother.
