In a video shared on Facebook by Nigerian priest Reverend Father Kelvin Ugwu, Dora expressed her gratitude to God for fulfilling her prayers after a nine-year wait for a life partner.

“What God cannot do does not exist. We dey pray, e dey show. My name is Dora, and I’m giving my testimony from Streams of Joy, Dallas.

“Indeed, the lord has shown me mercy. Since 2020, I have been on this altar, believing God for a life partner. I’m a single mother of three and I have been believing God for over nine years for a divine settlement. I kept on praying, I said God settle me,” she stated.

Dora recounted how Pastor Jerry Eze led prayers for women in their 30s and 40s seeking husbands. In 2024, after what she described as divine guidance to move, she reconnected with Daniel, a childhood acquaintance, and they swiftly exchanged contact information. Their relationship developed rapidly, culminating in their wedding on July 29, 2024, in the USA.

It is noteworthy that Dora did not mention Daniel’s status as a Catholic priest during her testimony. However, images from their wedding have circulated widely, highlighting the union that resulted in Father Daniel’s suspension for breaching the tenets of the Catholic priesthood.

The Diocese of Warri has not yet released additional statements, but the incident has ignited considerable online discussion regarding faith, priestly celibacy, and individual choices.
