Nollywood actress and wife of a billionaire, Regina Daniels, has faced public scrutiny following allegations of showcasing a counterfeit Rolex wristwatch.

This incident occurred shortly after she posted a video in which she unboxed the luxury watch, asserting its value to be $30,000.

An Instagram luxury account, @T20luxury, conducted an analysis of Regina Daniels’ Rolex and highlighted several inconsistencies.

Their investigation revealed that while the wristwatch seemed to be a vintage model, it was presented in a contemporary Rolex box, casting doubt on its legitimacy.

Additionally, they pointed out the lack of a date lens and noted discrepancies in the color of the internal lining and the gold tone of the crown.

T20luxury wrote in part:

“This Rolex Date ust Two-Tone you unboxed in this video is a vintage model, so it’s not the most recent version, hence it shouldn’t come with the modern Rolex box but instead an older version box.

“The picture is not too clear to confirm the authenticity of the dial but one thing is conspicuous and that’s the missing date lens.

“Then again, The box is fake because the color of the internal lining is too imprecise and the external material and colors are off. Finally, the crown 👑 gold colour is shinier than what the original should look like.”

The accusations rapidly garnered attention on the internet, igniting intense discussions among fans. While a portion of the audience came to the actress’s defense, others raised doubts regarding the rationale behind a billionaire’s spouse allegedly showcasing a counterfeit luxury item.

As the debate persists in the public sphere, Regina Daniels has not yet addressed the allegations.
