• Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo named Nigeria’s goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali her hero after the Super Eagles’ AFCON finals loss to Ivory Coast.

• Nigeria’s Super Eagles suffered a 2-1 loss to Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations final on February 11.

• Many Nigerians expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of the recent elections, believing they would win but being disappointed.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo declares Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali her hero of the evening after the Super Eagles’ AFCON finals defeat at the hands of Ivory Coast.

Sadly, on Sunday, February 11, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were unexpectedly defeated  2-1 by Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations final.

Many Nigerians expressed their displeasure at being let down after expecting to win.

Iyabo Ojo responded by expressing her grief and praising Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

She issued a strong warning, threatening to wear her black bonnet for the next three days if anyone irritates her.

She added: “My hero tonight……. 💚 @nwabali32 But i still dey sad make nobody vex me for the next 3 days.unless i go wear my black bonnet 😡😭😢 🇳🇬”
