A Nigerian man in the UK tells how his wife falsely accused him of a crime to take their house, influenced by her church peers.
In a video interview with Precious Ubani, he shared the painful experience of bringing his wife from Nigeria, which led to unexpected troubles.
When asked if it’s wise for men to bring their wives from Nigeria, he warned against it, pointing to cultural misunderstandings and personal issues.
After settling in the UK, he bought a house for them, but their relationship soured due to outside pressures.
He alleged that his wife injured herself in multiple places and then reported him to the police, claiming he assaulted her to execute her plan to take the house.
“Nigerian and Ghanaian women are something else. Myself and my wife came from Nigeria to the UK. When I got here, I bought a house, outside and church influence made my wife inflict bodily injury on herself in six places then call the police on me just to take my house,” he stated.
