A Nigerian man is reportedly recovering in the hospital after getting a permanent tattoo of Davido’s newly released album, 5ive.
The incident, shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows the man in a hospital bed being attended to by a nurse after the tattoo, which features the album cover, was inked onto his body.
According to a friend of the man, who spoke about the situation, the man had been a huge fan of Davido’s music ever since the artist announced the release of his new album. The friend explained that the man had been eager to do something special for the singer.
A few days later, the friend received a call informing him of the tattoo, with the friend saying, “Since Davido announced the album, he kept saying he wanted to do something for him. Yesterday, I got a call saying he had gone and gotten a tattoo. Just look at what he did to himself.”
