Gbenga Oluwatomisin, a 44-year-old man, has been brought to court for allegedly sending a private video of his former partner to her husband.
He is charged with conspiracy and breach of peace at the Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan.
According to Inspector Sikiru Opaleye, who is prosecuting the case, the defendant is accused of conspiring with others who are still at large to commit the act on January 7.
Opaleye noted that Oluwatomisin acted in a way that could lead to a disturbance by allegedly sending a sex video and recorded messages to the husband of his ex-girlfriend, Kehinde Olayiwola.
“Kehinde and Toyese Olayiwola were married before they separated due to a misunderstanding, during which Toyese allegedly befriended the defendant.
“After some time, the husband and wife later reconciled and started living together again, but the defendant wanted to continue his affair with Toyese, which she declined.
“The ex-lover, Oluwatomisin, then allegedly sent the sex video and recorded voice messages of their escapades to Toyese’s husband with the phone number 08129427990,” he stated.
