A Nigerian man has caught the public’s eye after expressing his ongoing misfortune in sports betting, frequently losing his bets due to just “one game.”
In a heartfelt series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), @Topzy__2 opened up about his challenges, explaining how one game spoiled his betting tickets for two consecutive nights.
Two days ago, he shared a picture of his tickets with crying and heartbroken emojis. The next day, he replied to his own post, saying, “Another 1 cut tonight, am sad 😔.”
The frustration peaked when he tweeted, “I dey really sad omo 😢 aje I dey cry sef omo,” after a fellow bettor dared him to show his feelings.
@Topzy__2 then shared a picture of himself crying, revealing the emotional strain from his losses.
His tweets have drawn sympathy and humor from online users, with many connecting to his situation and others suggesting he should stop betting for a while.
A social media user @ToYeebFCB reacted, “Na this stage u still dey ? 😂 I don pass this stage nitemi ooo. Better buckle up, nobody is coming to save u.”
