A Nigerian man has shared his heartbreak after allegedly receiving only N1.1 million as a final settlement for five years of dedicated service to his employer. In an emotional video posted by @bigdreams1001 on TikTok, he recounted breaking the disappointing news to his mother, who comforted him and reminded him to trust in God.
Despite his frustration and sadness, he expressed gratitude for not being falsely accused of any wrongdoing during his tenure and maintained his respect for his boss. “After serving for 5 years, I was paid N1.1 million. Thank God they didn’t say I stole something. I cried to my mum, but she said God is able. Well, I still love my boss,” he captioned the video.
The video has sparked a range of reactions from viewers, with many empathizing with his situation and offering words of support and encouragement.
