A young guy who worked remotely for a German firm has lost his job as a result of internet interruptions in several African nations.
Recall that certain African nations had huge internet interruptions for three days after some international cables under the sea were purportedly broken.
It appears that internet troubles have taken their toll on some distant workers, as a young man who would have earned £3,640 per month has lost his German employment.
In a talk with a buddy, the man who worked for a German firm said that Human Resources laid him off because he was unable to fix an issue he was requested to.
During the talk with his friend, he disclosed that he was on 12 weeks probation but has only done 6 weeks until the internet challenges occurred days ago.
Sharing the chat on his wall, the friend of the man captioned it “The internet outage in Ghana has cost a professional colleague. He’s working for a German company from Ghana as their . He started less than two months ago and still on probation. His contract got canceled today.
I can imagine what’s happening to other remote workers in Ghana. Slow slow slow!!!
Read the chats! I think we have to be concerned at this point. He has lost €3k plus a month to dumsor and internet outage.
