Man duped at computer village laments, shows ‘unbelievable’ fake money he was given

A video of a sad young man has triggered a wave of concern among Nigerians after he narrated how he was duped at Lagos’ Computer Village.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows how the man was fooled by someone who handed him a wrapped bundle that appeared to be money.

In the video, the young man @dieahdy shows the wrapped’money’ that was given to him, which he later realized was actually cardboard cut to look like real money.

In the video, @dieahdy expresses his disbelief and frustration, questioning how he could have been so easily deceived.

He wrote:

“Please guys, be careful out there.”

“That sh.it is not ordinary, Even I keep asking myself, how did this thing happen to me?”
