A young Nigerian man has been celebrated by internet users for changing his mother’s living situation.
He posted a heartfelt video that sparked strong reactions from Nigerians who were impressed by his commitment to improving her life.
The man, known as @humblerich001 on TikTok, shared a throwback clip of his mother’s previous home, which had a leaking roof that caused her distress.
This difficult living condition inspired him to work hard for a better future for her. He successfully built a beautiful new home, providing her with the security and comfort she had longed for.
The video showcased the contrast between the old house and the new one, capturing his mother’s happiness.
While sharing the video, the proud son narrated: “A video my mum sent me when it was raining inside and she was even afraid to sleep. I cried but it was a motivation. I took a picture of how it looks.
Slowly making my mum proud. Nobody will chase her out of her house anymore like how they always did. Now she’s inside a new house, happy and sleeping like a baby. It’s so beautiful. Never give up.”
The TikTok video touched viewers who praised the young man’s determination and prayed to also make their mothers happy.
