Man proposes to girlfriend after passing his loyalty test, stood up for him during staged assault

A man set up a lavish and manufactured scene in an unnamed restaurant to pop the question to his fiancée, shocking bystanders at first before the real reason for the drama emerged.

Amid a potentially serious altercation, the couple—who seemed to be having a simple lunch with their young daughter—found themselves in the middle of it.

The incident was caught on camera when several guys broke into the restaurant, accusing the man of owing them money and attempted to escort him out with force.

The bewildered woman—possibly the girlfriend—reacted impulsively as mayhem broke out, leaping to her partner’s defense without realizing it was all part of a script.

Startled observers and worried bystanders were drawn to the dramatic event that was playing out at a well-known mall.

But the shocking surprise emerged as the man appeared to be being dragged out of the mall.

Rather of being hauled away, the man got down on one knee and presented a ring, indicating that the entire incident was a pretext for an unexpected marriage proposal.
