A young man has shared a chilling story of how he survived an attempt on his life by his best friend, who had poisoned him but ended up dying himself.
According to the man, his best friend reached out to him, asking if he was available for a meet-up. During the visit, his friend brought along a herbal concoction, commonly known as ‘agbo,’ which they typically drank together. After consuming the herbs, the young man began feeling strange and uncomfortable. However, his friend reassured him, attributing the feeling to having taken the drink on an empty stomach.
As the day wore on, the man felt his condition worsen, eventually becoming unconscious and lifeless. When his friend realized he was no longer responsive, he took advantage of the situation, stealing valuables from the young man’s home, including his laptop, phone, clothes, and shoes.
Hours later, a concerned neighbor, who hadn’t heard from the young man, went to his house and found him unresponsive in his bed. He had been unconscious from 8 AM to 9 PM. After regaining some consciousness, the man used his phone’s flashlight to call his friend, John, who was shocked to hear that he had survived. In the conversation, the man jokingly told his friend that his enemies would meet his death instead of him.
Later, he learned that his best friend had collapsed and died under a bridge, with crowds gathering around his lifeless body. The man was told that his friend had suddenly slumped and passed away, marking a tragic and unexpected twist to the betrayal.
