A 66-year-old man in Germany apparently lost his masculinity as a result of an assault by his own dog.
According to authorities, neighbors reported a dog barking nonstop from the man’s home about 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
When first responders arrived at the home in Herne, northern Germany, they heard agonizing moans from within.
At this point, they busted down the door to locate the 66-year-old man and his dog. The police quickly realized the man’s life was in danger and rushed him to the hospital.
According to the German newspaper Bild, neither the man’s manhood nor ‘an instrument of the crime’ have yet been recovered from the site.
The victim has also been unable to provide information owing to health concerns. Officials believe the dog caused the man’s injuries.
First Police Chief Inspector Frank Lemanis told reporters that when the guy arrived at the hospital, he was placed in an artificial coma.
‘One scenario, of course, is that the dog, which is around the size of a Jack Russell terrier, bit off and ate the penis. The wound might have been caused by a bite.
