A troubling case has emerged involving allegations that a group of Indian doctors may have participated in the purchase of a kidney from a young Kenyan man for $6,000.
The incident came to light through a video shared on the social media platform TikTok. The video claims that a man named Amon agreed to sell one of his kidneys in exchange for the payment.
According to the post, the medical procedure took place at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret. Amon was reportedly brought to the hospital by an older man who allegedly acted as a middleman in the transaction.
“Amon was promised $6,000 for his kidney—a substantial amount in a country where the average monthly wage is roughly $500,” the narrator explained in the video.
The post further alleges that the surgery was carried out by a group of Indian doctors working at the facility.
The video quickly went viral, generating widespread concern and intense discussion in the comments section from viewers shocked by the claims.
