A Nigerian man identified as Sufiyanu Abubakar Salihu is reported to be making preparations to marry the sister of his late fiancée just a week after her demise.
The deceased, Rukaiya Ibrahim Kani and Sufiyanu were set to tie the knot on on August 12, 2022, in Bauchi State but unfortunately, she died mysteriously on on Wednesday, July 27 as revealed in a post made by the groom-to-be.
The sister of the late bride-to-be, Fatima Ibrahim Kani also took to her Facebook to mourn her sister as she prayed for Allah to receive her in His bosom.
She wrote; “Indeed, life is ephemeral and de@th is inevitable and certain end. I lost yet another sister. Ibrahim Kani (Aunty Ummi), her marriage was scheduled to take place in two weeks from now but now she’s gone forever. Ya Allah kagafarta mata kamata rahama kasa inna mu yazo mucika da imani. Plz pray for my sister.”
Well, the elder brother of the deceased has also taken to his Facebook page to announce that the wedding ceremony will still be taking place as they prepare the sister of the deceased, Fatima Ibrahim Kani to be the new wife of Sufiyanu.
He further revealed that the wedding will be held on the same day as communicated previously and also shared an invitation card with the deceased’s named replaced with her sister’s.
