A man has reportedly declined a scholarship to pursue engineering studies in China after his girlfriend threatened to end their relationship due to the potential distance.
This information was disclosed in a post that rapidly garnered attention on the widely used social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
The individual, reflecting on a comparable experience, indicated that his girlfriend had warned him that she would terminate their relationship if he accepted the scholarship.
In his post, he stated, “I rejected a scholarship to study engineering in China 🇨🇳 because my girlfriend at the time told me she’d break up with me because of the distance. So, I chose VUT instead. We broke up three months after rejecting the offer.”
