A young man from Nigeria is getting ready to collect donations on X (formerly Twitter) after leaking a chat with his roommate’s girlfriend about an influencer.
In the discussion, she pleads with him to block a specific Twitter influencer on her boyfriend’s phone, claiming that her boyfriend has started to show worrying behavior that she thinks is influenced by this person.
He posted screenshots of their extensive chat on X, explaining her request. She asked him to go into her boyfriend’s phone, find the influencer’s profile, and block it.
She thinks her boyfriend is becoming wary of her because of the influencer’s content, even though she insists she doesn’t do anything wrong.
She said the influencer’s tweets have influenced her boyfriend’s behavior, so she asked a young man to block the influencer for her.
However, the young man said no, explaining that it could hurt his friendship with his roommate and damage his social media reputation.
After he turned her down, the girlfriend exploded in anger, calling him a fool and mentioning that her boyfriend frequently talked badly about him and preferred he not be there.
The young man remained calm, saying that the room was co-owned and he planned to leave soon.
Once he posted screenshots online, the influencer became aware of what happened.
The post led to a lot of responses, with many supporting the young man for his reaction.
Within 24 hours, the influencer shared the young man’s details on social media, encouraging followers to donate to his housing fund for a fresh start.
