A young man was spotted expressing his outrage when his sister played a song by Nigerian musician Naira Marley in their home.
The video, which rapidly went viral, captured the awkward family moment as the sister played the controversial musician’s song over the speakers.
The scenario started when the young girl chose to distract herself with music by playing one of Naira Marley’s songs on her phone.
She had no idea what to expect from her older brother, who was passionately opposed to the choice of music.
The young man erupted in anger as the thumping beat and enticing lyrics filled the air, raising his voice to express his views.
He clearly disagreed of the musical choices, and his reaction was nothing short of angry.
Notably, in the video, a woman identified as the brothers’ mother can be seen berating the young girl for her music choice.
The mother’s presence contributed to the tension as she supported her son’s anger with the music.
With his emotions running high, the older brother decided to take control of the situation.
He quickly seized his sister’s phone and silenced the Naira Marley song that had sparked the outrage.
He gave her a severe warning not to play any of the rapper’s songs in the house again.
Despite the girl’s protests and her desire to be left alone to enjoy her chosen music, her pleas fell on deaf ears.
The older brother firmly paused the song and returned the phone to her.
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that some radio stations have banned all Naira Marley’s songs.
