A Nigerian guy who surprised his girlfriend with a N20,000 cash gift for her birthday is hurt by her unexpected response.
A social media user going by the handle @OSERE_X shared the interaction with his sweetie, whom he surprised with a token on her birthday, on the microblogging site X.
As shown in a conversation, the individual said that he was giving his partner a birthday present by crediting her with N20,000.
Unfortunately for him, the lady ungratefully took the cash gift while wondering on what he meant by’spoil yourself’ statements on such a sum.
“Maybe I overreacted or Maybe I didn’t…The entitlement some girls have ehnn.. Sent this lady monetary gift.. and this was what i got? Smh…. Never again!!” the man captioned the post.
He pressed on to rant, “Money that i worked hard for!!!!! Gifting someone is bad now? I was only trying to be nice.. since it is her special day.”
