Manchester City have confirmed that Belgium midfielder will be out of action for three months after sustaining a knee injury.
The EPL defending champions announced on their website that De Bruyne will not be needing surgery.
De Brunyne was instrumental in City’s title-winning season he finished the season with the most assist in the EPL.
We can confirm Kelvin De Bruyne has suffered a lateral collateral ligament (LCL) lesion in his right knee.
No surgery is required, and the midfielder is expected to be out for around three months.
This will come as a big blow for Pep Guardiola who is aiming to win the EPL back to back for the first time since 2008/2009
