Annie Idibia, wife of legendary Nigerian singer, 2Baba Idibia has lamented that many other scenes filmed in the Netflix reality show ‘Young, Famous, & African’ were excluded to focus on her marital crisis with 2Baba, her partner.
Some months ago, Annie was in a well-publicized dispute with 2Baba after she called out the singer for allegedly spending nights with one of his two baby mamas under the guise of seeing the children he fathered with them.
The outburst made their marital strife a public debate, prompting social media rows between their family members.
The actress later apologised for the outburst while 2Baba similarly extended an olive branch on social media.
Annie and 2Baba recently starred in the Netflix reality show that spotlighted their marital struggles and family life.
In the show, Annie had admitted, in an emotional state, that it hurts that her first child is the singer’s fifth.
After the show ended, the actress took to her Instagram story on Monday to remark that so many scenes she filmed were left out.
“So please, now that the show has finished, who knows that Annie is an actress and not just 2baba’s wife,”
“So many scenes were taken out of the show like so many at the end of the day. I didn’t go to SA 4 whole months to plan a wedding. I went there for work. I was there for work.
“I gave them the mother, I gave them the tasking career woman and entrepreneur. Finally, I gave them the wife.
“Told my story as genuine as I could be in all honesty I gave my whole me to it sadly none of those scenes made it to show. [They] took out my work; the main role I pray as a mother in my children’s lives.” she wrote.
