Renowned media figure Frank Edoho has expressed his views on why he considers marriage to be not an accomplishment.
During a recent episode of the podcast ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ hosted by content creator Ismail ‘Isbae U’ Adebayo, the former presenter of the popular game show ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (WWTBAM)’ shared his perspective.
Edoho articulated that marriage is merely a contract between two individuals to cohabitate, asserting that its termination does not equate to a catastrophic event.
“See, firstly, marriage is not an achievement,” Edoho said.
“Which people told you that marriage is an achievement? Marriage is not an achievement.
“Marriage is just two people coming together and agreeing to live together for the rest of their lives. And if one marriage breaks, it’s not the end of the world. And if you leave a marriage, it’s not the end of the world.
“Like the girl you wanted to date and give a role and have sex with her, you understand, you guys broke up. Have you died? Have you died? You haven’t.”
