May Edochie hit back at Comedian Baba De Baba with a defamation lawsuit, demands an apology

• The post further claimed that Edochie recently went to Ghana with her female friends to seek out men for relationships.

Nollywood star and influencer May Edochie is suing comedian Chidi Uzoma, known as Baba De Baba, for allegations he posted on Facebook.

Her lawyer stated that Baba De Baba claimed Edochie has a preference for women rather than men in private.

The post further claimed that Edochie recently went to Ghana with her female friends to seek out men for relationships.

The letter mentioned that Baba De Baba accused Edochie of being HIV positive and allegedly warned men in Ghana to be cautious around her.

The woman, who started her acting career this year, asked the comedian to remove all negative posts about her.

She also requested an apology to be given to May by Sunday, December 15, 2024.

In response to the lawsuit, comedian Baba De Baba stated that he is willing to apologize but will not remove all his content.

He claimed that fans of May Edochie, called May Nation, have been targeting Judy Austin and Yul Edochie in a similar way.

Baba De Baba also mentioned that someone else manages his Facebook page, making it a lengthy process to delete the content.
