May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has broken her silence amid curiosity about her new home in Lagos.
Over the weekend, a flow of congratulatory comments flooded social media and various blogs, claiming that the famed brand influencer bought a new property on Banana Island.
The property, recognizable by its pure white facade, dominated many Facebook timelines, sparking a flood of excitement and celebration among her dedicated supporters.
This comes just weeks after May Edochie faced a flood of social media criticism after a content creator exposed her continued usage of her husband Yul’s name throughout her online domains, despite their months-long separation.
May and Yul’s split has been widely publicised for some time, as the once-loving couple watched their marriage collapse after Yul decided to marry his colleague, Judy Austin, as his second wife.
Despite the current legal battle in divorce court, May Edochie continues to use the “Yul” alias on social media platforms.
Xta Ray, a content producer, claimed that May Edochie now dresses seductively, implying that she did not have the freedom to do so during her marriage with Yul.
The video creator strongly urged May to change her stance and reconcile with her husband, urging for her to return to their marital home and fight to save their relationship, rather than surrendering to the influence of negative voices pushing for divorce.
