May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie, has shared her joy about her first role in Nollywood in Omoni Oboli’s new thriller WivesOnStrike 3: The Uprising.

On August 13, 2024, actress Omoni Oboli shared the film’s trailer on her Instagram, and May Yul-Edochie commented to show her enthusiasm.

She wrote, “I finally got to feature in a movie and it’s the UPRISING! A must watch cos it’s loaded.”

May’s comment received a lot of excitement and supportive words from her fans and followers.

A fan responded to her comment, saying, “I would love to watch it. I can’t wait for it to be shown on Netflix or Prime Video. Well done, my Queen, you never disappoint. Greetings from Ireland.”

In other news, Kolawole Ukpabio, a first graduate from Adeleke University, has shared his desire to pursue his passion for songwriting for the artist Davido.

Veteran journalist Dele Momodu posted Kolawole’s heartfelt message to his parents on Instagram after he graduated with first-class honors in Mass Communication from the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.

At the graduation ceremony on July 21, 2024, Kolawole, the only male first-class graduate in his department, expressed his gratitude to his parents for their support and asked them about chasing his dreams.

He acknowledged that they might prefer him to have a stable corporate job, but he is determined to follow his ambition of writing songs for Davido. Kolawole stated:

“I thank you mom and dad for giving me this opportunity to excel and get a first class degree in Mass Communication, it was a great learning opportunity and a good grooming privilege, can I now follow my passion and write songs for Davido? I know you want me to work in a corporate office, yes I will do that if given the opportunity, but I want you to know that, I will also pursue my musical dreams along the line.”
