A new video surfaced online showing the awful house where late Nigerian rapper Dagrin’s mother lives has sparked outrage.
Falilat Olaonipekun, Dagrin’s mother, recently disclosed in a live broadcast with good samaritans that she has been battling to live healthily.
The residence where the elderly woman resides was revealed in a new video making the rounds in an attempt to verify her whereabouts and gather donations.
The man behind the camera walked around the house, pointing out the unsightly façade, as well as the deteriorated windows and other features.
The movie captured the interior of the house and highlighted some of the prizes Dagrin received before his terrible death in 2010 such as The Headies Award and others.
People on the live video who were soliciting funds for the late rapper’s mum lamented as they asked who had been getting paid for his songs that are still being streamed online to date.

Some Nigerians who watched the video, pitied the old woman as they noted that if her son had not died, her life would be better.

It has now become a norn for a famous person or their parent to come out on social media and seek for financial support. Very soon the media space will be too small to accommodate those seeking for help.
