Four medical professionals have had their licenses to practice in Nigeria suspended by a 15-member investigation panel of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
On Monday, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) announced this via its social media channels.
In cases of alleged ethical misconduct that are properly brought before the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, the Medical and Dental Practitioners Investigation Panel serves as the court of first instance.

According to the MDPIP’s Standing Orders and Rules of Procedure, the Professional Discipline (PD) department receives and investigates complaints from the public alleging professional misconduct on the part of physicians and dentists.
The department’s head oversees all activities and acts as the investigation’s secretary.
