A Nollywood actor by name Kingsley Abasili who overtime has drawn a lot of attention following his striking resemblance with Pete Edochie, has taken to his social media handle to respond to “curious journalists” with claims that Nollywood legend is his Father.
In a twitter post, Kingsley said he had been approached by media houses who asked him to falsely claim that Pete Edochie is his biological father, as a criteria to become famous.
According to him, the media houses offered him the deal as a condition for him to get promoted in the industry, but he rejected the deal because of the love he has for Pete Edochie.
Abasili posted on his social media handle:
“For those coming to my inbox to mock me, I’m not popular because I refused to be. Media houses approached me asking me to declare Pete Edochie my biological father but I refused.
That was the condition I was given to become famous but I see no reason to do such.”
He made this shocking revelation two years after photos of him and Pete Edochie surfaced online.
Though Pete Edochie has not openly made any comments about his relationship with the Nollywood actor, the suspicion that they could be more than just a lookalike has kept many wondering.
