A Nigerian boy identified as Chigozie Emmanuel has inspired many people online with his rags to riches story.
He revealed that he made more than N30 million (Thirty Million Naira) from affiliate marketing, using nothing other than his phone.
Chigozie, who was speaking in an interview with journalist, Lucky Udu, said he started the digital business when he was 16 years old.
According to the teenager, he decided to delve into that firle after he had just graduated from secondary school and he was sitting idly at home.
He said that he had applied to study medicine at the university but there was a six-month waiting period before new admissions, so he thought of ways to make money for his poor family.
Chigozie started doing research online and explored some other jobs online, except fraud or other illegal activities.
None of them worked as he wanted until he discovered affiliate marketing. He said that the first money he made at 16 was $69.
The secondary school graduate, however, said the highest amount he has made from it was $20,000 within a period of three weeks.
