In related news, Tory Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. The judge in Los Angeles announced the sentence after hearing that Lanez had told Megan to “Dance, bitch” while shooting at her.

This punishment came after Lanez was found guilty in December of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, negligent discharge of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered gun.

The prosecutor stated that Lanez’s actions caused both physical and emotional harm to Megan and requested a 13-year sentence.

Tory Lanez’s lawyers requested a sentence of three years in prison or probation, along with treatment for his alcoholism.

During a lengthy sentencing hearing that began on Monday, Judge David Herriford mentioned he received over 70 letters, including some from Lanez’s famous friends.

One letter was from singer-songwriter Iggy Azalea, who asked for a sentence that would be “transformational, not life-destroying.”
