Meghan Markle To Take 6-Month Course On How To Be A Royal From Queen’s Aide

Meghan Markle To Take 6-Month Course On How To Be A Royal From Queen’s AideMeghan Markle will have a crash course in ‘how to be a royal’ with advice from the Queen’s special adviser, according to reports.

The new Duchess of Sussex will be assisted by Samantha Cohen, 49, who had been the Queen’s assistant private secretary, and is expected to be brought up to speed with protocol and expectations of life with the monarchy.

Ms Cohen gave notice of her resignation last September following the ousting of Sir Christopher, 56, the Queen’s private secretary, who announced in July he was leaving after 15 years of royal service.

But she has now agreed to stay on as interim private secretary to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to The Times.

The Duchess of Sussex, 36, is planning to spend six month’s learning how to be an effective member of the royal family, the paper adds.
