Two weeks after Meghan Markle tied the knot with Price of England, Prince Harry, Meghan’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson is pursuing his own happily ever after. He pops the question to his girlfriend of eight months, Tracey Kurland, a dietician.
Engelson proposed to Kurland on Friday, June 1, and commemorated the moment with a sweet (though, private) Instagram post. Following the proposal, Trevor took to his private Instagram page to share a photo of Tracey’s hand resting on his shoulder, revealing that she is now wearing an engagement ring.
He captioned the photo with “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party!”
This would be the second marriage for Engelson, who began dating Markle in 2004.
Sources have speculated that the reason for the split was the distance put between them while Markle was on location in Toronto filming Suits.
According to the The Sun, Engelson was heartbroken by the split and devastated by the news that Markle was engaged to Prince Harry.
Trevor and Meghan dated for six years before getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, in September 2011.
They were married for two years before filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
