Popular American Rapper Wiz Khalifa, Comedian Kevin Hart, NBA player Ben Simmons, and others have been spotted at Wizkid’s Made In Lagos concert in Los Angeles, US.
These top celebrities were seen grouped in one area while enjoying the show with other attendees. This is one of the first few times world stars have come together to support an African star on his/her own show.
Some people have funnily said that Wizkid is becoming more of an American artiste than a Nigerian, mainly because the American people have literally accepted him as one of their own. He is by far Nigeria’s greatest export to America in terms of music in recent years.
His song Essence debuted the No. 1 spot on Urban Radio US, No. 1 on Shazam US Charts, top ten songs on US Apple music, No. 28 on Billboard Global 200, and more. He has also sold out all venues he slated for his Made In Lagos album tour.
The concert took place yesterday (25th September 2021) at The Novo event space. Wizkid performed his song with Ella Mai titled, Piece of Me, off the Made In Lagos album. They danced together as they performed.
Meanwhile Ella Mai performed happily with Wizkid as the crowd cheered them up. The event space with two thousand four hundred (2,400) capacity was full to the brim because it was a sold-out concert.
American Rapper, Wiz Khalifa, Comedian Kevin Harts, NBA player, Ben Simmons and other top celebrities were spotted at the concert. Wizkid is having a good run as an African artiste who is representing Nigeria.
A few weeks ago, he performed Essence remix with Canadian Singer, Justin Bieber on stage, at the Made In America concert hosted by Jay Z. He became the first African artiste to grace that platform
