The politician was about to take his oath of office with his second wife standing behind him when his first wife stormed the podium and pushed her away.
A viral video shows the first wife mounting the stage and using her body to push the second wife to the side as she took her spot behind her husband.
A man who was on standby as the incident unfolded could be seen speaking inaudibly to the first wife after she displaced the second.
Meanwhile, the Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Tambuwal, swore in Tajudeen Abbas as Federal House of Representatives Speaker, on Tuesday.
Members-elect voted Abbas of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Speaker of the 10th House at their inauguration in Abuja on June 13, 2023.
